Comments: got this game when I was I think, 16yrs old...I was home from school for a week sick with the flu or something...I purchased it a day or so before I got sick...I would sleep, play Alex Kidd, and just do that all week....this game is great, I'll never forget when i got this game. It was alot of work to beat it, getting to the end and losing my last life really was frustrating!!

Comments: This, and shinobi world, are the two best alex kidd games ever made. I still remember reaching the last area and trying to decipher the stone tablet (read it backwards of course), and seeing the epilogue. Still play it every so often, and still love it, the thng about classic games is that they are made to be mastered, no saves, no reloads, only thing that gets you there is Skill.

Comments: i am so good i was actually the first person at my high school to break the code at the end! ppl would come up and beg me for it. i am also so good for 2 other reasons------------------- *1. i completed this game without losing a single man - i think i finished it with roughly 30 men in the end *2. in the final castle where if u dont have the flying wand u have to take the lower route through the spikes and water - well i made it through those spikes a total of 3 times , and once when i was drunk at a friends house!! its thanx to this to this game that i bought a ms2 and thus began a debilitating trip into the world of electronic entertainment, bye bye outside world...

Comments: Hi! This is my 2nd favorite game. This is also the 2nd game I ever finished (The first was "Sonic the Hedgehog"). It wasn't so hard to reach the final level, the one where you were supposed to put the code. The hardest part was to figure out how the code was supposed to be read from the stone... That is why this was such a great game: adventure and puzzles.

Eso de jugar a piedra papel tijeras en lugar de liarte a piñacos, no deja de ser un modo mucho más sutil y constructivo xD (aunque también más azaroso) de resolver los conflictos (al menos hasta cierto punto del juego, :p). Lástima que al no saber inglés en mi infancia, tardara muchos años en poder comprenderlo. Ahora hasta lo he traducido. ¿Mi veredicto? No cabe ni dudarlo, xD. Un título que hizo tantas maravillas del tiempo de ocio de mi infancia, :D. Sé que soy poco imparcial, xD.

Comments: Continue Feature: When the words "Game Over" appear on the screen, press and hold the Directional Pad UP and press BUTTON TWO eight times. This will enable you to continue, but only if you have $400 or more. Bonus Round: When you get to the first Octopus, punch out the tentacles or buy the TALCUM POWDER and become invincible and punch him in the face two times. Then, put Alex's stomach on the chest and move left and right while holding DOWN on the Directional Pad, until you go underground to a BONUS ROUND. First Stone Head: Rock, then scissors. Scissors Head: Scissors, then paper. Paper Head: Rock, then paper. The Ox: Punch the Ox six times. Mt. Kave: The pink boxes will not break, just punch them and move on. To get the TELEPATHY BALL, you must fall down the hole and keep the Directional Pad pressed to the right and the passageway will open up. Blackwoods: Buy the CANE OF FLIGHT at the shop. Use it in the middle of the woods. It is best to take your time over the spikes. Grizzly Bear: Buy the "A" capsule and Alex's friends will beat him. You can also use the BRACELET. After the forest you should buy the PETICOPTER and beware of the lightning. The "B" capsule will help you if you should lose the peticopter. Bingoolowland: The Radactian Castle When first entering the castle, run past the spikes, jump over the pink box and climb up the ladder to your right. You will enter a room with a fireball and a bat. Climb to the top left of the screen and make your way up to the next room. You are now in a room with a frog and spikes on the ground. Punch the frog and make your way to the right. You will then be in a room where the floor is empty, and a bat is present. Keep going to the right to get a FREE ALEX. You should then go back to the room where there is no bottom. Fall to the second level of that room, next to the two spikes and the bat, then go right. You will then be in a room with two bats and four money bags. Punch the grey blocks and take the ladder going down. You will then enter a room with two pink boxes. Punch the grey blocks located on your right and continue right. You will then enter a room with sixteen more grey blocks. Punch the bottom bricks and climb down the ladder on the right. You will now find Alex's brother Egle. Punch the pink boxes to set him free. Go back down the ladder and go back two rooms to the left, continue down the ladder. You will now enter a room with three fireballs. Jump over them and make your way to the left where you will enter a room with three fireballs and six ladders. Take the top ladder on the right to get the PERSONAL LETTER. Get the letter and go back down to the room with the ladders. Then go down to the bottom ladder on the left and take that all the way down. There will be a room with a scorpion. Punch the scorpion and make your way to the right. Run past the falling spikes and continue right. Punch the grey blocks and enter the next room. Watch out for the fireballs, wait until they are across the room, then make your way to the left ladder, and your out. Second Stone Head: Paper, then scissors. Punch his head three times. Second Scissors Head: Rock, then rock. Punch his head three times. Second Paper Head: Rock, then scissors. When his head flies off, go to the left side of the screen and punch. Magic Castle: When on the draw bridge, get the two stars. Jump down and go all the way down to the right. Go down the first ladder, jump over the flame, then go left and punch the gold boxes. You can use the bracelet at this point. Keep going left and jump between the open bricks and try to get the star and the money. Move to the right and take out all the gold bricks. Pass the next ladder you see. Enter the room with several gold boxes and two star boxes. Get the money in the boxes and take the ladder going down. Go along the top of the room, making your way down to the right into the gas chamber. Pass the spikes, moving right to the frog room. Take the frog out, keep going to the right into the room with two question boxes, a scorpion and a flame. Take the ladder located in the top right of this room and you will enter an U shaped room. Break the gold boxes, this will enable you to make you way up. When you are at the top, go left. On the other side of the room is a room with two question boxes and spikes hanging in mid- air. Do not attempt to break the boxes, just jump past the spikes and the question boxes while moving left. The next room has bricks, plants and water. Take the ladder on the left side of the room and go up. At the top of the ladder go left to a room with only one star box (this box contains a FREE ALEX). Take the ladder all the way up and go left. You will enter a room with four ladders, three flames and a question box. Take the ladder at the top left of the room. You will enter another gas room with a pink fish box on the left side. Punch it quickly two or three times and run to the right side of the room. Go up the ladder and you will enter a room with three frogs. Take them out and exit at the top right portion of the room. The next room contains spikes hanging from the ceiling. Cross over the bottom of the room and jump over the section of floor that opens when you walk on it. Punch the gold box at the end of the room and drop down to another room. This room contains one fish box and two spikes. Punch the fish box twice, take out the scorpion and head towards the right. This room has a question package, but watch out because the floor drops out. Use the CANE OF FLIGHT to float to the top of the room and take the ladder in the top right of the screen. You will enter a room with scorpions, a frog and a pink fish box. Punch the fish box five times and go to the right, into the next room. In this room, there will be a frog and moving flames. Use your question package and jump past the frog. Go down the ladder that is second closest to the wall on the right hand side. Jump down, watching out for scorpions and flames and go right. Janken The Great: Watch out, he cheats! Use paper then paper and punch him in the forehead twice. Once you have defeated him, there will be a present at his feet. Take the present and exit the top left of the screen. Cragg Lake: You must run over the floor in the following sequence: SUN-WAVES-MOON- STAR-SUN-MOON- WAVES-FISH-STAR-FISH. Comments: I grew up on this game as it was built in to my first ever console and i'm sure the rest of the population aged 18-25 did too. its truely amazing. i play a lot of x box but i still have the occasional jam on the sega and its still loads of fun! clearly the forest is the best stage but the castles have also provided hours of enjoyment. for those that don't know when its "game over" hold up and tap the b button furiously you will get "continue mode" are there any other secrets, other than that octopus dude in the basket you go down?

I always knew that Master were better than the NES and its clones (both technically and on gameplay), but we couldn't admit that back then, simply because our parents weren't going to buy us another videogame...the mistake was already done. (you will have to skip floors!!!) any way i will explain go up first ladder watch the spikes!!!! climb up ladder kill that bat climb ladder watch the spikes overhead!!!!! jump carefully and kill another bat ok you should be in the next room by now go down whilst going down contue hitting pause again and again make sure the brick work is overlapping keep doing this until alex has dissappeared now you should skip a couple of floors now you encounter scissors head beat him press jump button you should skip some floors some more take note of everything (looks very strange dont it) now eventually you should be at janken fight him (ocaasionally alex reappears)now skip some more floors then the game restarts its self (pretty stupid if you ask me) works on third castle too this game is flawed and a lot of bugs

Comments: This game is the bomb! It was always the highlight of my day when I was young but it is incredibly solid- even now. There should have been a better way of winning. Three lives to last you the whole game was a bit harsh- but still- it was well worth trying. The graphics were a bit dodgey, and the music did your head in, but who can say they hated miricale world? It's a classic and they should ,make a modern version with Alex with new graphics and less-irratating music!

Comments: This game is built in to my sms2, and as such, was the first game i played for the system of masters. featuring colourful backgrounds, varyed enemies(think stoneface, the first boss), great powerups/vehicles, and, on top of that, an interesting plot line, and it's hard to see where it could be bettered. still haven't beaten this one, but it's on my to do list...great game... prefer sonic games myself, but i can see why this game is a firm favourite amongst sega fans.

Comments: it is so simple to play alexkidd on pc, go get an sega master system emulator (this is a programme, type google: sms emulator) and find the rom of alexkidd (type google: sms roms) and open your emulator then load the game. like sega master system, you can find lots of console and arcade roms from net and play them on your pc. i mean you can even play all gameboy, gameboycolor, gameboyadvance, nintendo systems (incl. nintendo64) playstation (not PS2) neogeo, capcom midway etc.etc.... games on your pc easily. just look for the system's emulators. sometimes it is hard to find the roms, but with P2P programs like "emule" you can download them. if you can't find emu or roms of alexkidd, i can send two of them to you, so they're too small. just mail to me. sega is one of my all time favorite console and alexkidd is my favorite, i can gladly help you. mert ucer, from turkey.

Y qué momentos... qué momentos... cuánto tiempo, tantas ilusiones, tantas energías puestas, tanto pensar y cabilar, tanta imaginación invertida... Tanto deleitarme y adorar las melodías de fondo... de ese y muchos otros juegos para la que ha sido mi primera consola. ¡Tanto jugar, disfrutar... y al final apreciar! Tanta dificultad y quebraderos para poder llegar a pasarme este juego por vez primera en mi vida, ¡y al final lo conseguí, y lo glorioso que resultó tal día, que pensé que jamás llegaría! ¿Que qué nota le doy? No destaca en jugabilidad, pero tampoco peca demasiado de ella... para su tiempo... se han visto cosas muchísimo peores. Es MUY original. Divertido. MONO. ENTRAÑABLE. Inolvidable. Gráficos sencillos, dibujados, bien para el sistema y la época. Músicas originales, buenas, bonitas, entrañables, y sobre todo acertadas, con la suficiente variedad que se pueda esperar. Variedad suficiente y sobrada en las fases y los escenarios, para su planteamiento. Inventario, objetos... Algún que otro puzzle... Comments: I got my Master System back in 1989 and tried in vain for years to complete Alex Kidd In Miracle World. Unfortunately around 1991 my Master System waved a little white flag and promptly died and I was gutted that I didn't get chance to finish Alex Kidd. A couple of years ago I downloaded an emulator onto my computer and played Alex Kidd In Miracle World for the first time in over 10 years, and after about 2 or 3 tries finally completed it! Yahoo!! Now that, my friends, is a happy ending :)

Alex kidd punching rocks and fucken gofers coming out to fuck him up! one time i got really far and I was so nervous that i told my friend usman to press pause... do you remember that the pause button was not on the control pad but on the system itself? my friend pressed reset by accident... once i stopped crying histerically, i fucked him up!!!! I spent hours trying to beat it but i guess it's not meant to be :( too bad cause this game is fun as hell, i think all the other alex games are bunk, having played them on emulators i found that miracle world is the best you can get, i still say they shouldve made a sequel (i know they made other alex games) but a sequel to miracle world wouldve been fantastic. excellent game. 100% pure fun....cept for when ya die.. >:P 10 alexes long live sega

Ganhei o Master System 3 Compact de presente de meus pais no mês de julho desse mesmo ano. O game Alex Kidd in Miracle World foi a minha porta de entrada no mundo dos games! As primeiras vezes que eu joguei, sentia muita dificuldade em passar as telas, eu perdia o jogo por erros absurdos, mas com muita prática, alguns meses - isso mesmo - MESES depois, fui pegando as manhas e artimanhas, começei a sacar as estratégias e me tornei um expert neste game. Salvei o jogo depois de muitas tentativas frustradas e neste primeiro término do game, fiquei muito feliz, porque eu o havia conseguido depois de muito, muito tempo. Eu finalmente zerava o game. E começei a zerar direto! Alex Kidd in Miracle World foi o primeiro game que joguei, e ele deixou muita saudade! O grafismo era excelente, apesar do processador de apenas 1 Mega, o som era muito divertido, realmente muito bom. Os estágios não demonstrava muita dificuldade e o enredo do jogo era muito bom. As cores das telas são o ponto forte deste game e o ponto fraco... sei lá, há algum?! R A R I D A D E P U R A ! ! !

Comments: A classic game in the Master System collection, and at that, a classic game in the entire Sega collection. Countless hours was spent playing and perfecting the levels, and figuring out the final code was a blast (um, do I read back to front or up to down or maybe inside out - what?). Crisp, clean graphics, catchy tunes/sounds and responsive controls and interesting levels make for a complete & fun experience. Can you conquer the game without losing even 1 life?

Comments: i am so good i was actually the first person at my high school to break the code at the end! ppl would come up and beg me for it. i am also so good for 2 other reasons------------------- *1. i completed this game without losing a single man - i think i finished it with roughly 30 men in the end *2. in the final castle where if u dont have the flying wand u have to take the lower route through the spikes and water - well i made it through those spikes a total of 3 times , and once when i was drunk at a friends house!! its thanx to this to this game that i bought a ms2 and thus began a debilitating trip into the world of electronic entertainment, bye bye outside world...

Comments: My favorite game. I've still got all the janken matches stuck in my head (Stone Head 1: Stone Scissors. Scissors Head 1: Scissors Paper. Paper Head 1: Stone Scissors. Stone Head 2: Paper Paper. Scissors Head 2: Stone Stone. Paper Head 2: Stone Scissors. Janken The Great: Paper Paper. However if you make a single mistake all the other matches will be different. One other thing, on my console, Alex ate a hamburger at the end of each level, however on the emulator, he eats a rice ball. Always found that weird. The only hard part in the game I reckon was the long way around in the brown castle (Swimming thru the spikes, instead of using the cane of flight).
