Comments: Colorful, entertaining and quick! Most games today would never think if the old "one shot kill" but it makes the game that much harder. Even if you don't know the story it's quite simple. You are the hero. There are people invading. Shoot them!

Comments: I've been looking for a copy of this one myself. For it's time the game was quite detail with 26 enemy types and 8 bosses. Keeps you busy for hours trying to collect everything to make it to the end, complete with a save function (if you can find the code master!) If you want an early dungen crawl, here's a good pick!

Wonder Boy in Monster Land

Comments: I picked this up when I heard it was almost like the old arcade version that I loved so much. One Heck of a lot better then the first game, and far more entertaining. The whole collecting gold to buy your equipment made the game more of a challange.

Wonder Boy III: The Dragons Trap

Comments: Loving the second game to bit I grabbed this one when I got a chance. I was glad I did! Not quite the same game as the second, but it's not without it's own charm. Password function made the game that much better, and the changing of your forms through-out the game kepted it interesting.

Lord of the Sword

Comments: Simple sword swinging fun. They don't just let you be king these days, so some guys send you out to see if you have what it takes. Not much in the way of controls but it does have you running around back and forth across a large map. There's a lot of enemies and characters that keep the game interesting.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World

Comments: The first and best of the series! This game is right up there with Mario Bros in the weirdness. Plus the boss battles could either be real quick or take all your lives away! A must have for a collection!

Phantasy Star

Comments: One of the first role-playing games and possibly one of the best. Well, this is one of the top classic games of it's kind. Good details and animated enemies with first-person perspective dungens kept the game unique for it's time. I loved the cross of fantasy and science fiction themes.
