Comments: I played it lately and it's a really awesome game. YES the Genesis version is graphically better but in this one we had the possibility to gain new armors, new weapons and even new magic, an option that wasn't introduced in the series until Ultimate Ghouls'N GHost I think ( The PSP or DS game)

Comments: I approve of this manly game, played it on the genesis and completed it sucessfully. A little harder than the SNES Super Ghouls'N Ghost but it is still all the fun of the series. The worm boss still pisses me off to this day. And the tower level where there was a fuckload of tongue was hard as fuck too. Still manliness prevails.

Comments: For once, we seem to be in agreement, Paul. There were more ghouls than ghosts and I would be lying if I said it didn't upset me. Perhaps that is why it is titled "Ghouls and Ghosts", however.

Comments: aaah...this is a game to my heart. Bought it in 1991 or so for about 20 euro and played like hell with it. Especially the first stage is something for me; ghosts, stormy weather, yeah...my kind o' stuff. I'll give it an eight. The game deserves it.

Comments: I had a really funny experience with this game once that left me rolling around in hysterics for ages, here goes: I was on the ice level, just before that ghost house (or whatever it's called) and I'd lost my armor. I got hit in mid air by one of the enemies and my skeleton landed on one of those platforms that fall away when you touch them. It fell away and my skeleton kept bouncing up and down on top of it as it fell into the water. How more dead can a man get?

Comments: este é classicão!!! Um game 2D de ação com plataformas que é um estouro! Mais um da Saga dos games do Master System q são capazes d superar muitos games atuais para os vgs mais modernos! A jogabilidade é muito boa com vários itens e armas, além das magias! A versão do Master tem algumas novidades em relação a de Mega, algumas colocando a versão do Master em vantagem como os calçados(velocidade),elmos,(magia nova) e armaduras (aumenta a resistência) qvc pode comprar,ambos AUSENTES na versão de Mega!A dificuldade no Master tb é maior, mais isto não atrapalha a diversão garantida deste game de estilo medieval!

Comments: I love this game on the Genesis. I wasn't expecting the SMS version to be quite as good as it's 16 bit counterpart, but even so, I feel a bit disapointed in how this one turned out. I think the graphics could have been better in a few places, and the gameplay needed speeding up a little bit, but I must say that the title screen and the first boss's graphics are done REALLY well, they look almost as good as the Genesis versions!

Comments: A good late-period SMS game. It is a good game, but is a little weak being 8-bit. It would have made more sense to release Ghosts 'N Goblins, which was great on the NES. This game is okay, but other versions exist that are cheaper and are much better (SNES and Genesis). If you can find this game cheap, get it. Otherwise, it's for collector's only.
