Comments: In my opinion the best game of the SMS series.It's just to be regretted that this game is quiet short but it's very enjoyable nonetheless, a parody of another classic,Shinobi.They should've made a sequel to Alex Kidd for Genesis too.

Comments: The best game of the genre sure as shooting.It's also very tough from the beginning to the end and the soundtracks are simply catchy.When you get up to the 7th stage,the challenges become next to impossible to overcome as the alien spaceships begin to attack from every direction.Added to that,the two final bosses will make life tough for most players ,not least Bydo.When you use the keyboard to play shooters, it seems the difficulty level increases 10 fold and dodging the enemy fire is certainly a fruitless endeavour. The arcade version of R-Type is much better, though it does not have a secret stage as in the SMS version.It's a good thing that this game had many follow-ups and I doubt the latest one will be The final version as stated.

Comments: Very interesting game, though many a time it gets annoyingly repetitive.They should've added new weapons to be collected up in the course of the game,but still and all it's worth giving it a try as it's simply another classic.The difficulty may prove a challenge to most players and I remember when I first finished it,using up nearly all of the continues.The soundtracks are amazingly catchy and you can employ a very effective strategy in the fight against the bosses.Just flying around the screen and never stop shooting.This stratagem will enable you to go really further into the game,but things get tough from the 5th stage upwards, when the poles and other obstacles begin to come faster.Your skills and reflexes will have to be put to test like there's no tomorrow.

Comments: This game has stuck in my memory because I've already owned it, but it's far from being one of the best of the genre.Zaxxon seems to have failed to provide entertainment and challenge for most demanding players, including me.This game does not have the basic ingredients for a decent challenge and the weapons collected up all through it lacked creativity, though they're indeed necessary once you're confronted with the boss and guided missiles.One drawback to using them is that the fuel of the spaceship can be nearly exhausted in a question of seconds every time you use them, so you got to save the special weapons only and uniquely for the strategic situations when your conventional bullets inflict descreet damage on the enemy.You can also play it on 2D mode by pressing pause during the opening screen.

Comments: This game is mostly fun and enjoyable, though it does not take a lot of time and craftiness for any players to realize that the vertical laser is indeed the most powerful weapon in the game.It's far easier to outstrip any bosses and other enemies that appear when you use it.
