Comments: Afterburner was made popular because of the hydraulic arcade cabinets. The game itself was pretty banal and simplistic, and the master system conversion did nothing to address that. I enjoyed it for while when I was a kid, because I did not know any better. But I got bored of it very quickly.

Comments: i have fond memories of playing this while on holiday in Spain. i must've been about 5, but i was amazed as to how cool it was. how games have changed since then, eh. i actually couldn't remember the game until i saw the pics..... wow! lol. very tame but today's standards, but yeah. a very good game :)
